My standard size is 20x16 for $550 (plus shipping). This size is for a head and shoulders composition of a single animal. Larger sizes are available. A down payment of $100 is required to reserve a spot in line. When the painting is finished, I will send you a photo and expect the balance payment at that time. My paintings take about 3 weeks after completion to be dry enough for delivery. I will give you an estimated completion and delivery date before accepting your down payment.
I use professional quality oil paint and heavy-duty stretched canvas. I build my paintings with clean canvas edges so that framing is not required. Finished paintings are ready to hang when delivered. I work from photos, so I do need some good, high-resolution images. The key to a good photo is taking it from your pet’s eye level; pointing your camera down at them doesn’t usually make a good reference. Having several photos is very helpful for color matching and personality.
